  • The Second Battle of the Alamo

A second Texas Revolution is currently brewing in the Lone Star State. This all comes as a result of a seemingly laudable plan promoted to and passed by the state’s legislature some four years ago.

The plan involved the rebuilding and improvement of the state’s most iconic shrine—the Alamo. The plan as promoted and approved would have rebuilt certain historic structures present at the time of the 1836 battle, as well as give visitors there a better and more complete understanding of the physical environment existing at the time of the conflict.

Consequent to the plan’s passage, Texas General Land Office Commissioner George P. Bush, whose office is now in charge of running the Alamo, brought in a number of out-of-state planners to design the project. What they came up with was something very different from what its backers originally envisioned.

Much to their dismay, the originators of this effort were astounded to learn that the new focus of the Alamo would no longer be the 1836 battle for which it is world famous. In the words of Bush’s Master Planner George Skarmeas, “We cannot single out one moment in time.” Instead the Alamo would be transformed into a multi-cultural hodgepodge of world history. In fact, its very name would be changed.

The site would no longer be referred to as the Alamo—instead, it would be known as the San Antonio de Valero mission. And this does not comprise the full extent of the plan’s disturbing features. Instead of rebuilding the mission’s outer-perimeter defensive walls using the original limestone as has been done at the other four San Antonio missions, the Alamo’s walls would be constructed of modern-day see-through plexiglass.

Other bizarre aspects by the designers are also present, including a tree-lined body of flowing water coursing through the middle of the site’s Main Plaza complete with tables, chairs, and canopies under which tourists may sip their drinks in comfort. In short, the effect will be more reminiscent of a modern-day tourist theme park than that of a hallowed and sacred battleground. Needless to say, upon learning these facts Texans across the state have met this plan with vociferous opposition.

There are now statewide efforts ongoing to ensure that it is never implemented; these Texans are outraged and adamant that a plan conforming to the original intent of the legislature when proposed and passed be enacted. It is safe to assume that this fight will be loud and ugly.

It is also highly likely that when it is over, George P. Bush’s once-promising political career in the state will be finished.

This video that formerly displayed the REIMAGINE THE ALAMO MASTER PLAN oddly has been yanked off of YouTube. Wonder why?

View this video in order to see the dramatic contrast between the two plans.

The Alamo is not art, nor is it a theme park.

  • A Little Perspective For My Out Of State Friends

    By Shelley Gordon Gross

A little perspective for my out of state friends. I know that you are seeing a lot about Houston, but it is not only Houston that has been affected. We are about 90 miles Northeast of Houston and people in my small town are also being evacuated (we are fine). Also, this is a densely populated area.

The storm has affected almost half of the population of Texas (based on the 2010 census numbers), over 11 million people. This does not include all of the people in Southwest Louisiana who are now getting rain.

Think about this when you wonder why people in the areas of flooding weren’t evacuated. 11 MILLION PEOPLE. You cannot evacuate 11 million people.

In hurricane prone areas we know that the people who have to be evacuated are the ones in the area where the hurricane will make landfall. As dangerous as things are right now in the areas of flooding, there would have been many, many more deaths if the counties farther south were not evacuated.

  • Pack It in . . . Friday!

One hundred and forty five years ago some carpetbaggers decided it would be best if Texans didn’t carry guns around. Today, C. J. Grisham ascended the capitol steps in Austin in glory. They filtered in by twos and threes as the sun peeked through the clouds. It’s always windy on Capitol Hill, and in winter it can be quite crisp, but nobody seemed to mind because a victory, albeit one with conditions, was won. Texans pushed for Constitutional Carry. What they got was the licensed carry with a twist. As C. J. told the crowd, Texans got to remove one thin bit of fabric, revealing the gun on the belt.

  • Open Carry in Effect for Texans

    by Bob Price

grocery-shopping-open-carry-AP-640x480Texans with a “Concealed Handgun License” or the new “License to Carry” can openly carry a handgun in accordance with the new law that went into effect at midnight on Friday.

Other new laws expanding protections of law abiding gun owners also went into effect. The Campus Carry law has not yet taken effect.

Late in 2015, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) began issuing the new “License to Carry” (LTC). The new license replaces the prior Concealed Handgun License (CHL). If you currently hold a CHL do you not need to get an updated LTC, according to a statement obtained by Breitbart Texas from the DPS.

  • The American Biker

    Dear America,
Since the events in Waco unfolded I have been blown away by the amount of incorrect information that media, as well as certain law enforcement outlets, have dished out to the public. I realize that most people who are not in the motorcycle culture obviously have no clue as to what it is all about. It is obvious that the public in general assumes the events portrayed on “Sons of Anarchy” and biker movies is the reality of the biker culture, those of us that partake in the biker world know that this could not be further from the truth!
So let’s get some facts straight……

  • To the people of Texas and all freedom loving Patriots

As we all enjoy this Memorial weekend with our family and friends remember this :

A line has been drawn in the sand. What happened in Waco is a serious turn in the direction of this country. BIKERS ARE PRESENTLY THE BACKBONE of PATRIOT AMERICA! It really doesn’t matter what you think you know about them. First they come for the bikers then you.

In a country being ruled by the direction of the daily wind instead of law and individual freedom by main stream media and public opinion we will all be reduced to the mere cowards of the master.

If you’re not angry about what occurred in Waco you’re not paying enough attention.

Sure you tweet, post, hashtag etc your outrage as a keyboard warrior but here’s a news flash, Tyranny is banging at your door.

“It does not take a majority to prevail but rather an irate, tireless minority keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men” – Samuel Adams

It is not up to Mayors, city councils, police chief’s, street cops, or politicians whether or not Americans get to peaceably gather, protest, discuss, play music, or wear patches in public.

It’s up to a document ratified years ago called the Constitution. This is really not a difficult concept.

During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

    Wake up, you’re next!

mastering-the-human-domainJade Helm 15 (JH 15) has awakened the American consciousness like few other events in recent history. I have been getting calls from Louisiana, to Utah, to Texas, to California, to New York, and from Colorado mainstream radio stations (e.g. FOX) who wanted to interview me about the martial law and extraction of dissidents operations associated with JH 15. Most of the mainstream talk show hosts are in shock over what they are discovering. Some of the hosts and their listeners want to know if I thought this turn of events is going to deteriorate into a civil war.

  • Mastering The Human Domain – THE JADE HELM 15 DRILL

mastering-the-human-domainFrom July 15th to September 15th, 2015, the U.S. Army Special Operations Command is conducting a massive military drill in an area covering the entire American   Southwest. At first glance, I thought this drill was a response to the massive military drills being conducted by Russia. I wrongly assumed that Jade Helm 15 was a drill designed to protect the Southwest from an invasion by Russian-backed Latin American military forces (i.e. Red Dawn). However, after reading the operational plan of Jade Helm, it is clear that this drill is about the brutal martial subjugation of the people of Texas, Utah and Southern California who have risen up against some unspecified tyranny. Further, this drill is also about martial law being used as a preventative measure in states which “might” lean towards civil war against the United States government (i.e. California, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico).
